She's Coming Round the Corner....
I'm just over a month away from turning 30.
Wow.
I don't know why I'm so fixated on this. I've been obsessed with turning 30 for the past two years. Most of the time I just go ahead and round up and claim to already be there. Then I'll make a joke about having one foot in the grave.
For some unknown reason, I have it in my head that my time is up. I'm past my prime. I've wasted my life. Time to just put the old girl out to pasture.... but why?! I'm still young! Hell, I still look like I'm much younger than I actually am most days. In the immortal words of Conrad Birdie, "I've got a lot of livin' to do!"
So that's just what I'm going to attempt to do. Take stock. Get honest. Answer some tough questions. and live some life!
